Partner Projects
The Glossy Black Conservancy is leading the development of a national Recovery Plan for the South-eastern Glossy Black-Cockatoo and in doing so is updating its website to document projects that are achieving outcomes for the species.
To add your project, simply complete this google form and hit submit.
If appropriate, your project will be included in a national database of Glossy Black-Cockatoo projects and listed as a partner project on the Glossy Black Conservancy website. With your permission we’ll also include your contact details on a national project email list so that we can let you know when there are new resources, funding or consultation opportunities available.
When you agree to be included in the national projects database, you might be contacted by like-minded groups wanting to connect, or by members of the public who want to be engaged in hands-on activities.
Through consultation with grassroots Glossy conservation groups and in discussions during our national forum, we heard that many groups are working in isolation – and not by choice. There is a desire for groups to connect with eachother, to share experiences and resources and to avoid duplicating effort. The overarching goal is to build eachother up, and ultimately, to boost efforts to protect Glossy Black-Cockatoos.
